Abstract

Yunus Emre  was a Turkish folk poet and Sufi who greatly influ­enced Turkish culture.The exact date of his birth and death is not known. He lived in the thirteenth-fourteenth centuries. He wrote religious-mystical poems in plain, understandable language.
