Abstract

Zia Pasha (Abdulhamid Ziaedin) is an innovator of Turkish poetry. Philosophical problems are posed in the works of Zia Pasha, tender human feelings and emotions are conveyed. He belongs to the number of authors of "Tanzimat" era. Both prose and poetic works belong to his pen. Ziya Pasha, together with Namik Kemal and Ibrahim Shinasi, is the founder of the new Turkish literature.
